Bill Rice is Running for Flat Rock School Board

DSC_4676Thanks for coming by and visiting!

We are just getting started here, but you can expect a lot from this site in the next few months and beyond. One of my main goals in running for the School Board is to demonstrate how hard I am willing to work for you, our community, and most importantly our children. That means meeting as many of you as possible, asking lots of questions, listening to your expectations and hopes.

So, what’s in store for this website and how will it benefit you?

Of course, I am going to give you tons of information on what being a member of the Board of Education means to me. However, I want to go beyond that typical political rhetoric. I am also going to use this website as a way to take you on a guided tour of all the great things the Flat Rock education system has to offer our students and the community. I want you to walk with me as I engage with the people, groups, and administration that make Flat Rock an exceptional place to educate your kids.

Will you join me? Think of this website as more than a Board of Education candidate’s site. Use it as a resource, a place for discussion, a way to improve communication, and a quick way to find out how to contact me when you have a question.

Good for you. I love to see parents get involved and help their school districts. Its a wonderful way to help stay involved and informed while your children go through the education process.
Ken was President of the Gibraltar School District for 9 years and loved every minute of it. They didn't always love him but that goes with the territory.

    Elaine,

Thanks for visiting my website. I really am looking forward to getting even more involved in the Flat Rock school system.

As you know, Heather and I regularly spend time in our children's classrooms and are members of the PTOs, but I am ready to contribute more.

Ken was a good man! I am sure he was a great leader for Gibraltar Schools.
