I really agree with your comment on Flat Rock teachers. I have had such good experiences, both in the classrooms and through our activities with the PTO.

My experience, with my children's teachers, has been the same as yours–they are willing to go to the extra effort to make each child successful.

I am also impressed by how often my kids come home and tell me about little funny things their teachers do to make the day fun–again, extra effort.

It really has a small town feeling. Whenever I go for a bike ride or a walk, there are always people outdoors to say "hi". I am also very pleased with the school system. My son has special needs and the services he receives, through Flat Rock Community Schools, are professionally met by teachers that are caring and compassionate. Flat Rock is a great city!
